What you’ll accomplish
Link a new Nestiva expense to an active Money Account so its balance updates automatically.
How to do it
- Start an expense
Enter its amount, category, note, and date.
- Open Money Account
The optional account selector appears below Date & Time.
- Choose the funding account
Only active accounts with a compatible currency can be selected.
- Save
Nestiva creates the expense and an immutable account movement together.
Before you finish
Check that you are in the intended Personal or household workspace and review the saved result. Nestiva keeps each workspace separate so the same action can produce different records or settings depending on the active space.
